Georgia’s Black Sea beaches are a vast territory 315 kilometers long (including Abkhazia) known for its warm summers. The climatic conditions are favorable for swimming in the sea during 5-6 months in a year, and for climate therapy – all year round.
Protected landscape with wetlands was founded in 1998. This part of the country was inhabited in ancient times, about 2000 years BC, as the legendary Colchis.
Petra is a fortress located on the seashores of the Black Sea, between the resort Tsikhisdziri and town Kobuleti, Adjara province, West Georgia. Fort is situated on a hill, from where the beautiful views over the Black Sea and Kobuleti beach is open for the visitors.
Mtirala National Park is located between the territories of Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, and Keda municipalities. Park is 25 km far from Kobuleti. Visitor Center is located in Village Chakvi. Mtirala National Park is the only place where 220 meters zip-line is arranged.
Kintrishi Protected Areas is located in Adjara Autonomous Republic (Kobuleti Municipality) with a total area of 13,893 ha. It is located in a picturesque valley of the river Kintrishi, between village Tskhemvani and Khino Mountains, at an altitude of 300-2,500 meters above sea level.
Batumi Botanical Garden, located at the distance of 9 km from the center of Batumi, occupies the area of 108, 7 hectares of approximately 1 km stripe of Southern-Western section of the coastline located between the river Chakvistskali estuary and the Green Cape, being spread to the height of 0-220 meters from the sea level.

The Paliastomi Lake is located on the eastern coast of the Black Sea, 10 km south-east of Poti City. Its surface area is 17.3 km² and the mean depth is 2.6 m. The lake is included within the boundaries of the Kolkheti National Park.
Shekvetili Dendrological Park with its scale, unique and colorful collection of plants, the best conditions for learning about biodiversity and its original development, is completely outstanding not only in the Black Sea region, but also in the entire region.
The amusement park has been open since 2006 and has been visited by more than 300,000 people. Amusements in the park are aimed at children of all ages.
Black Sea Arena – the biggest concert hall in the country is located in Guria, Shekvetili, at the Black Sea Coast. The music Arena is constructed on the land of 30’000 square meters and has the capacity to host up to 10’000 guests. Since it is opened in 2016, hosted various events, numerous concerts featuring Georgian and Famous stars were held at Black Sea Arena.
Batumi International Airport has located 2 km (1.2 mi) south of Batumi, a city on the Black Sea coast and capital of Adjara, an autonomous republic in southwest Georgia.
Kutaisi International Airport is an airport located 14 km (8.7 mi) west of Kutaisi, the third largest city in Georgia and capital of the western region of Imereti.
The Caucasus barrier protects the whole of Georgia from the cold air from the north, and therefore, the country is largely open to the effects of warm weather and humidity from the Black Sea.
Western Georgia, including Adjara, has humid subtropical weather with heavy rainfall in spring and autumn, mild winters, and a pleasant coastal climate in summer.
In addition, Kobuleti is protected by mountains from all sides and the region has a specific microclimate with healthy air.
